
KGCE-Electrical engineering
Electrical engineering is a semi-professional and professional
engineering discipline that deals with the study and/or application of
electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. The field now covers a
range of sub-studies including those that deal with power, electronics,
control systems, signal processing and telecommunications.
The term electrical engineering may or may not encompass electronic
engineering. Where a distinction is made, electrical engineering is
considered to deal with the problems associated with large-scale electrical
systems such as power transmission and motor control.
Medium Of Instruction:
The medium of instruction as well as that of examination is both
English and Malayalam.
Admission: Month of July
The minimum qualification: SSLC or equivalent (Passed or
Failed).
Age: should not be below 14 years or above 25 years on 1st July of that
academic year.( There will be a relaxation of three years in the upper age
limit for scheduled caste candidates, for admission.)
Examination: Second year, in the month of June
