History:

Thrissur is famous as the cultural capital of Kerala. Irinjalakuda is equally famous as the jewel of the cultural capital. The famous Koodalmanikkam temple, the renowned St.Thomas Church, three star educational institutions, Kalanilayam and the focus of now world famous “Koodiyattom” make Irinjalakuda the centre of attraction of every  lover of art, spirituality and true knowledge.
      KTES ITC has also contributed their humble services to propagate the technical education to the youngsters of this town as well as near by towns. It was in 1972, that a Retired Engineer ventured to start the first ITC(as KTI )in Irinjalakuda with a view to render his humble services to our upcoming youngsters. Though it was a Herculean task to start the first ITC in Irinjalakuda, by His grace and support of some good souls in Irinjalakuda, the dream came true. The progress was slow but steady and it was the firm determinations of the founder to strictly follow the rules and regulations with service as the motive behind every endeavour. As there were hardly any attractive advertisements and false promises to the students, the strength was naturally limited.
But the will power of the management helped in wading through the rough waters and in the bargain has succeeded in establishing a name in the technical field . 
      It gives us great pleasure that almost all our students have succeeded in getting some jobs  and do justice to their families. We will continue to render this service to the society in spite of all the impediments and handicaps of running a noble establishment.
We only expect the encouragement and support of the good public who has given us immense strength to face all the difficulties and losses with a bright future ahead.

The institute has a substantial investment in computing facilities in order to ensure that all the students are exposed to Information Technology. Well facilitated labs and classrooms provide a good ambience for learning. 

Student counselors and crash courses in spoken English, computer education, Personality Development Programs render valuable support to bring about an all round development in the attitude, confidence and personality of the students as they step out to face the challenging world.
